By bringing together academic groups, industries and the non-academic, green-policy-making sector to form this exciting EJD training programme we are providing the ESRs with an outstanding opportunity to acquire cutting-edge, green-tribology knowledge for the needs of Europe and some of its most advanced engineering sectors. The structure of the consortium and the support of 26 Partners from 10 countries, including large industry, SMEs, universities, institutes, governments, professional engineering organisations and environmental organizations, and their direct involvement with the ESRs through research, specialised secondments and training is clearly ideal for the intersectorial and multidisciplinary exchange of ESRs between Beneficiaries and Partners in order to strengthen Europe’s position as it strives for a more sustainable future.
